Summer Camp

The day kicks off with morning playtime, where our youngest campers explore age-appropriate toys and activities, fostering social interaction and creative play. Next, it’s story time, followed by time outside on the playground. After a provided snack, campers dive into arts and crafts, bringing weekly themes to life. The morning wraps up with water play in sprinklers, slides, and water tables. For those who prefer to stay dry, chalk drawing, bubbles, and toys offer fun alternatives.   

Full-day campers enjoy a packed, nut-free lunch from home in our dining room surrounded by friends.  

Afternoon Explorations 

The afternoons bring a rotation of exciting activities, keeping campers engaged and entertained. These activities include:  

- Gym play for group games and physical activity, 

- Dance and movement classes to keep them active.   

- Yoga sessions that introduce relaxation and mindfulness.   

- Building challenges with Legos that inspire problem-solving and teamwork.   

- Science exploration activities to ignite curiosity.   

- "Make Your Dessert" for a sweet treat bit of creativity to end the week! 

Older campers begin their mornings on the playground, enjoying active play. Afterward, they participate in “Academic Hour,” a fun and interactive session that blends reading, math, and writing with games and hands-on learning. A snack break follows, and then it’s time for arts and crafts. On Fridays, campers look forward to water activities with slip-and-slides, waterslide sprinklers, and water games, adding a splash of excitement to the week! 

Full-day campers enjoy a packed, nut-free lunch from in our cafeteria surrounded by friends.

Is Ancillae camp only for students of Ancillae?  

No,  Ancillae is open to all children ages 2 ½ through entering 3rd grade.  Children should be potty-trained to attend.

 

Do I need to pack a lunch?

Yes, full day campers pack a nut-free lunch daily.  

 

What does my camper need to pack each day?

1. All campers need a water bottle daily . 

2. Preschool and kindergarten campers need a towel, change of clothes, and shoes for water activities daily. 

3. 1st , 2nd or 3rd grade campers will need a towel, change of clothes, and shoes for water activities daily on Wednesdays and Fridays. 

4. Full day campers need a packed lunch from home that is nut-free to follow our school policy.
