GOTR Bag

Be prepared each session:

• Have a bag devoted for GOTR gear.
• Pack your bag the night before.

REMEMBER TO PACK:

• shorts and sweatpants
• t-shirt and sweatshirt
• hat, gloves, scarf
• bottle of water
• running sneakers and socks
• healthy snack   ( must be nut-free)

What is a Running Buddy?

Each girls is asked to have  a running buddy registered to run for the final 5K.  This can be a family member or family friend over 16. GOTR coaches can also be a running buddy and will be assigned as needed by our team of coaches.  Please let us know  if your child has a running buddy registered for the run or if you would like a coach to run with your child. Please do not request a certain coach as a run buddy as we will assign based on pace of girls.  More information will be collected closer to our run.  See below to register for the final 5K.

Important Dates

Open now-  5K Registration for family and friends- visit www.gotrpa.org to register           (Reminder:  your GOTR girl is already registered)

Practice 5K -  Date TBD

Saturday, May 18th-9:00 a.m.  Final 5K at Montgomery County College- girls will join other GOTR teams in Montgomery and Delaware Counties for this wonderful event.  Please watch for more details from GOTR.

Monday, May 20th -  Season Celebration at AAA-  girls will stay after school for the last GOTR session.  Families are invited to join us at 5:00 for a special celebration.  More details will be sent home in April.

When and Where

• GOTR meets on Mondays and Thursday until 4:45.
• All pick-ups are at the main entrance.
• If picking up early, please contact school to arrange pickup place and time.
• If your girl is not attending GOTR and was not absent from school,  please email jdiorio@ancillae.org. or call ext. 182 to leave a message.

Lessons

A guide for parents was given out at at the first lesson from GOTR.  Please refer to this guide for lessons and discussion questions.  If you did not get a parent guide, please email jdiorio@ancillae.org and an electronic addition will  emailed to you.
