Extended Day

This program, available to all students in full day SSM to grade 8, provides families with after-school care for working parents. Extended Day ensures basic safety and a stimulating yet secure environment where children participate in a variety of well-supervised activities in a cooperative setting. Students from grades 1 to 8 are provided supervised study time to do their homework.

Program begins Wednesday, September 4, 2019.  Extended Day closes daily at 5:45 p.m.

Extended Day is not offered on early dismissal days and may close for weather-related early dismissals. AAA website alerts will be posted, and School Reach will be activated on such days.

If you plan to use the program regularly, please pre-register below for Extended Day by August 1, 2019 as it affords us the opportunity to provide for adequate staffing.

If you plan to use Extended Day on occasion, you can send a note into school on the day you will need the service and be billed the per diem fees listed below.

PER DIEM FEES:
Afternoons (pickup by 4:30 p.m.) $10/child/day
Afternoons (pickup after 4:30 p.m.) $17/child/day

Bills for per diem fees will be sent out after each cycle in October, December, February, April, and June. You will no longer be required to pre-pay for this service.
