Ancillae-Assumpta Academy provides the opportunity for students in grades 5 to 8 to participate in the Catholic Academy League at both the Junior Varsity and Varsity levels in 10 different sports. (Swimming begins in grade 3, and Football & Track in grade 4). Developing physical fitness, working as a team, honing communication skills, and striving for personal bests are student outcomes of participation in the athletics program.
The Athletics Program at Ancillae-Assumpta Academy is getting ready for the 2018-2019 fall sport season. Daily Sports updates and changes due to weather conditions are found on the Sports Hotline at 215-885-1638.
Football - 8/27 6:00PM to 8:00PM
Boys should be prepared with the following for practice on 8/27:
White Football Helmet and mouthguard
Practice pants and practice jersey
Full pads (shoulder pads, pants pads, cup, etc).
Football spikes and sneakers
Soccer - 9/5 - 3:30PM to 5:00PM
Field Hockey - 9/5 - 3:30PM-5:30PM
All paperwork must be completed before attending practice. This includes the fall sports registration, sports physical, concussion awareness and sudden cardiac awareness forms.
Orders from The Run Around that were placed on or before 8/1/18 will be available shortly. Orders placed after that day may not arrive on 8/27/18.

All medical forms must be received before your child can participate in clinics, preseason practices, and regular season practices. Cardiac, concussion, and sports physical forms need to be submitted yearly and last for the full school year. You do not need to re-submit forms for each season.

Sports Fee Information
The fee for fall sports is $185.00 and will be used to supplement the athletic budget. This includes officials and league fees, transportation, and equipment.

All new team members will purchase his/her own uniform. Players will be responsible for care and maintenance, and the goal is for players to wear their uniform for the duration of participation at AAA. We have partnered with The Run Around in Roslyn for our uniform needs as well as discounts on sneakers, socks, and other needs that you may have for the upcoming season.
Please note that the Girl's Lacrosse Uniform is the same uniform as the Field Hockey Uniform. Links will be open until August 20th.

Please be aware that all teams travel to away games and off-site practice fields. Directions to away games are located on the Ancillae-Assumpta Academy website. Bus transportation is provided to all weekday off campus practices (except track practice) and games. Parents are asked to pick up their child at the practice/game site following the conclusion of the practice/game.
Special Medical Needs
Please inform the Athletic Office if your child has any special medical conditions (such as allergies, asthma, cardiac conditions, diabetes, etc). It is the student’s responsibility to give to the coach any special medications that he or she carries so that it is available for use, if necessary, during games and practices both on and off campus.
