Ancillae-Assumpta Academy provides the opportunity for students to participate in the Catholic Academy League at both the Junior Varsity and Varsity levels in 10 different sports. Developing physical fitness, working as a team, honing communication skills, and striving for personal bests are student outcomes of participation in the athletics program.
The Athletics Program at Ancillae-Assumpta Academy is ready to participate in the 2017-18 Spring Sports Season. Schedules are posted below. Daily Sports updates and changes due to weather conditions are found on the Sports Hotline at 215-885-1638.
The V and JV Baseball, V and JV Girls' Lacrosse, and Softball teams are competitive teams in the Catholic Academy League. The V and JV Boys' Lacrosse Teams participate in a non-league schedule. These teams are open to students in grades 5-8.
Ancillae-Assumpta Academy is offering a Boys’ and Girls’ Track Team for the 2018 Spring Sports Season. The team will participate in Region 10 CYO. Boys and Girls in grades 4 to 8 may participate on the Ancillae-Assumpta Academy Track Team. Students that are on the Lacrosse, Baseball, and Softball Teams are also welcome to participate on the Track Team.
Practices are scheduled for Tuesday nights from 6:00PM to 7:15PM at St. Basil Academy, and on Wednesday nights from 5:45PM to 7:00PM at Ancillae-Assumpta Academy. Parents must provide transportation to and from Ancillae-Assumpta Academy and St. Basil Academy for practice.
CYO Region 10 Ribbon Meets are held on Sundays, from 1:00PM to 4:00PM, on the following dates: March 25th, April 8th, April 15th, April 22nd, April 29th. Locations of the meets will be published once received. The CYO Region 10 Championship Meet is on Sunday, May 6th. In addition, based on results from the CYO Region 10 Championship Meet, runners can qualify for participation in the CYO Area Championship Meet (May 20th), and the Archdiocesan Championship Meet (June 2nd).
The Track Team Registration Form and all medical forms must be received before your child can participate in practices and meets. If your child played a fall or winter sport, you do not need to re-submit the cardiac, concussion, or sports physical forms.

Sports Fee Information
The fee for the V and JV Baseball, V and JV Boys Lacrosse, V and JV Girls' Lacrosse, and Softball season is $180.00 and will be used to supplement the athletic budget. This includes officials and league fees, transportation, and equipment.
Spring Sports Permission and Fee Form (online form)
The fee for the Track Season is $35.00 and will be used to supplement the athletic budget. This includes CYO registration fees and equipment.

Registrations are accepted until March 10th.
All new team members will purchase his/her own uniform. Players will be responsible for care and maintenance, and the goal is for players to wear their uniform for the duration of participation at AAA. We have partnered with The Run Around in Roslyn for our uniform needs as well as discounts on sneakers, socks, and other needs that you may have for the upcoming season.
Please note that the Girl's Lacrosse Uniform is the same uniform as the Field Hockey Uniform.

Please be aware that all teams travel to away games and off-site practice fields. Directions to away games are located on the Ancillae-Assumpta Academy website. Bus transportation is provided to all weekday off campus practices (except track practice) and games. Parents are asked to pick up their child at the practice/game site following the conclusion of the practice/game.
Special Medical Needs
Please inform the Athletic Office if your child has any special medical conditions (such as allergies, asthma, cardiac conditions, diabetes, etc). It is the student’s responsibility to give to the coach any special medications that he or she carries so that it is available for use, if necessary, during games and practices both on and off campus.
