The Athletics Program at Ancillae-Assumpta Academy is ready to participate in the 2017-18 Catholic Academy League Basketball Season. Schedules are posted on the left menu.

The Basketball Teams are competitive teams in the Catholic Academy League. Team members that do not participate in the Catholic Academy League Games will have the opportunity to play in non-league games throughout the season.
All medical forms must be received before your child can participate in clinics, preseason practices, and regular season practices. If your child played a fall sport, you do not need to re-submit the cardiac, concussion, or sports physical forms.

All new team members will purchase his/her own uniform. Players will be responsible for care and maintenance, and the goal is for players to wear their uniform for the duration of participation at AAA. We have partnered with The Run Around in Roslyn for our uniform needs as well as discounts on sneakers, socks, and other needs that you may have for the upcoming season.

*If you have a reversible pinnie from another AAA team, you need not order one for basketball.

Please be aware that all teams travel to away games, some of which are not located on the academy’s campus. Directions to away games are located on the Ancillae-Assumpta Academy Website. Bus transportation is provided to all weekday games. Parents are asked to pick up their child at the game site following the conclusion of the game.
Special Medical Needs
Please inform the Athletic Office if your child has any special medical conditions (such as allergies, asthma, cardiac conditions, diabetes, etc). It is the student’s responsibility to give to the coach any special medications that he or she carries so that it is available for use, if necessary, during games and practices both on and off campus.
All players must have the required forms submitted for Concussion Awareness and Sudden Cardiac Awareness. All players must have the Sports Physical completed. These are due by the first practice.
Sports Fee Information
Fee for basketball season will be used to supplement the athletic budget. This includes officials and league fees, transportation, and equipment.
The basketball fee is $210.00 should be paid online through the Winter Sports Permission and Fee form.
