During the month of May, we will explore the Asian-Pacific countries, people and culture.  There are many different reasons why the countries of the Asia-Pacific region are often grouped together. What is important to remember is that the Asia-Pacific region is extremely diverse in terms of both its physical and human characteristics. Some of the more recognizable countries in the Asian-Pacific Region are Bangladesh, Cambodia, China, India, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Australia, Fiji Islands, Guam, New Zealand, and Samoa.

 

There are faculty meetings today for the Montessori Unit and for teachers in grades 1-8.  The Montessori Unit will meet in the SHC. Teachers in grades 1-8 will have area meetings.

 

The library will be closed today from 12 - 12:30.  Please do not send students up during this time.

 

All students were have received the Sacrament of Confirmation this year, or will receive it before the end of the school year, should come to the auditorium at 10:00 am to practice for Thursday’s May Celebration.

 

There will be a Student Council meeting today during 3rd period for Student Council Officers only.

 

The forensics team will have practice tomorrow 3:15 in Homeroom 5J. This is the last practice for the season. Anyone who is competing at Lasalle on Saturday is reminded that forms and registration fees are due today.

 

Service musicians will have rehearsal at 12:20 today.  Service choir will meet in the auditorium. Service instrumentalists in the music room.

 

Sports - V and JV Boys’ Lacrosse plays home with Devon Prep.  Please change at dismissl ib the Handmaids Center Locker Rooms.

 

V Baseball plays Norwood today at Miles Park.  Please change at lunch and dismiss after 6th period to the gym.

 

Softball plays Bryn Athyn today at Renninger.  Please change at lunch and dismiss at regular dismissal to the Handmaids Center to meet the bus when it returns from Miles Park.
