Tuition/Financial Aid

Families who apply to Ancillae place a high value on education and understand how incredible a Handmaid education is in setting the foundation of a child's future.  This is a lifetime investment worth making for your family!

The Academy uses FACTS Tuition Management to collect tuition. Families use this convenient online method to set up a payment plan.  There are several payment options available including one payment or multiple payments spread throughout the school year.  Tuition for the school year is due on July 1st.

A non-refundable reservation deposit of $700 is due to hold a student’s place for the next school year, and is credited to that year’s tuition.  New families pay this deposit at the time of registration.  A student is eligible for re-enrollment once the re-registration deposit is received by the Academy. Upon registration for new families and re-enrollment for current students, the student’s parents/guardians assume the obligation to pay the total tuition for the full academic year, including any fees and expenses incurred during that time. Payments are due on the dates specified above. In the event the student’s account is in arrears, either for the current or for any previous school years, the Academy reserves the right, without limitation, to pursue collection of unpaid tuition, including any attendant costs and fees, to withhold academic records, report cards, diplomas and transcripts, and to decline re-enrollment.

Participation in the Faculty/Staff Benefits Program assists in covering the cost of employee health benefits, offering a competitive compensation program for faculty and staff. This program allows us to maintain a lower tuition while providing the benefit of a deductible donation for our families. The recommended contribution to this tax deductible voluntary fund is $700 for 1 student, $1,400 for 2 students, $2,100 for 3 students, and $2,800 for 4 students.

Ancillae-Assumpta Academy endeavors to maintain an affordable tuition and counts on the good will and generosity of our parents to give according to their means to our Annual Sustaining Fund.

The 2024-2025 tuition and fees are as follows:

Financial Aid

Limited financial aid is available to families who show a need for such assistance.  Applications for financial aid are submitted yearly and must be resubmitted each year that the need exists.  Current school families receive precedence in the distribution of monies available.

Financial aid is available through corporate donations e.g. the Educational Improvement Tax Credit Program (EITC) and the Opportunity Scholarship Tax Credit (OSTC) for students in grades K-8, as well as the Academy’s own scholarship endowment.

PENNSYLVANIA EITC/OSTC PROGRAM QUALIFICATIONS FOR FAMILY ELIGIBILITY
  • Families with one dependent must have an annual income of less than $105,183 + $18,514 for a total of $123,697 to qualify. For each additional dependent, you can make an additional $18,514 per child

To Apply:

Applications are available from BLOCS (Business Leaders Organized for Catholic Schools).  These applications must be completed between November 1st and April 15th to qualify for financial aid in the next school year.  We ask our interested families to complete an application through BLOCS, found online at https://online.factsmgt.com/aid  Our school code is 91092.  The data is evaluated in conjunction with the families’ latest tax return to determine eligibility for tuition assistance.  BLOCS, using Private School Aid Service, offers the Academy the expertise of an independent evaluation, providing the analysis of data and the determination of need.  Families residing in Philadelphia may also apply to Children’s Scholarship Fund at www.csfphiladelphia.org.

The amount of assistance is contingent on the number of families applying, the amount of funds available and the demonstrated financial need of each family.  The Academy will credit the tuition bill for the following school year.
