Early Childhood Details
Interested families of our Montessori Program (Stepping Stones into Montessori, Preschool, Kindergarten) may apply once the admissions season begins and students will be considered for the following school year on a space-available basis.
Once your application and parent questionnaire are marked complete in Ravenna by AAA, you will be invited to choose from the available dates and times to schedule your Virtual Parent Interview and Child Assessment. Be sure to schedule the Virtual Parent Interview on a date before your Child Assessment date as the interview should take place first. When possible, please choose the first convenient date for your family from the calendar. Early education applicants are typically assessed in-person on Saturday mornings in the winter.
Kindergarten Applicants: Please have your child's current school complete the K Teacher Recommendation form so we can get to know your child and his/her strengths and needs. Forms should be received by Ancillae no later than your child’s visit/assessment date and can be uploaded here or emailed by the recommending teacher to admissions@ancillae.org.
Grades 1-8 Details
We offer two application deadlines during the school year for interested families applying to grades 1-8: January 2nd or February 3rd. The primary differences between these deadlines are the timeline in which you receive your child(ren)'s admission decision, and that priority consideration is given to those who apply in the first round. For siblings of current students and children of alumni, we offer priority consideration for applications received by the first deadline of January 2nd.
Following two rounds of admissions, interested families may continue to apply and students will be considered on a space-available basis.

To aid in getting to know your child and his/her strengths and needs, please have your child's current school complete the Grades 1-8 Release of Records and Grades 1-8 Teacher Recommendation. Forms should be received by Ancillae no later than your child’s visit/assessment date and can be uploaded here or emailed by the recommending teacher to admissions@ancillae.org.
School Visit & Assessments 1-8
Sessions will take place from 8:30-11:00 AM on scheduled days. Look for a parking spot reserved for “Admissions” outside of the McCoy Center.
During this visit, your child will meet with a school administrator and participate in an assessment, visit their current grade level, and have the opportunity to walk through campus while school is in session.
This admission step helps us get to know your child, offers an experience at AAA, and provides the admissions department with general information regarding readiness and placement before making an admissions decision.
Acceptance and Enrollment
The decision to accept a student is made by the principal and/or Montessori coordinator and the admissions coordinator. Should more information be needed to determine your child's readiness or placement, you will be contacted by a member of the admissions team, which may necessitate an additional visit, a pre-registration appointment, or a request for information from the student's current school.
The admission fees include application [$50], assessment [$80 to $100, age/grade appropriate], registration [$50], and deposit [$700]. Application and assessment fees are due prior to the student visit. Registration and deposit fees are due at registration.
Birth certificate, and baptismal certificates [where applicable], and the enrollment contract are required documents to be submitted at the time of registration. Student health forms are required to be returned prior to the start of the new school year. Those forms include a physical examination form and certificate of immunization to be completed by the family physician, a health history to be completed by the parent/s, and a dental examination record to be completed by the family dentist.
