Begin in Montessori

An Ancillae education begins in our Montessori program, offering several options to meet your family’s need for early education — which kindles curiosity and sparks a lifelong Love of learning.

The Stepping Stones into Montessori, Montessori Preschool, and Montessori Kindergarten programs together offer a curriculum that fosters the developmental milestones of the child from 2 ½ through 6 years of age. These programs bring to life the Montessori philosophy in carefully prepared environments to nurture the growth of each individual child.  Concrete hands-on experiences challenge the child’s natural curiosity to learn and explore while fostering the development of the whole child. The structure of the room and the sequence of materials support the child’s desire for independence and the developing sense of order and concentration. Respect for and care of all things is central to our classroom community.
