AAA is located a block past 1600 on the opposite side of the street.
Directions:
From PA Turnpike:
- Take the Fort Washington Exit #339 (approx 4 miles to AAA)
- Proceed south on Route 309 to the Glenside Exit (Arcadia University)
- At the top of the exit ramp, turn left at the stop light onto Easton Road
- Go straight through the first light
- Turn left at second light onto Limekiln Pike, Rt.152
- (Arcadia University on your left)
- Turn Right onto Rt. 73 (Church Road)
- AAA will be on your left
From Tacony-Palmyra Bridge/Rt. 73:
- Take Rt. 73 West as you exit the Bridge
- Follow Rt. 73 West
- Turn left at Washington Lane (which is about 10 miles from the bridge, Colonade will be on your right)
- At the traffic light, Church Road, turn right
- Travel 1 mile, passing 2 traffic lights, the entrance of the school is on your right after the 2nd traffic light.
Ancillae-Assumpta Academy is a private, co-educational, Catholic school located on a ten-acre campus in Wyncote, Pennsylvania, a suburb outside of Philadelphia.
Once the estate of Saturday Evening Post editor George Horace Lorimer, the property welcomed Herbert Hoover, Norman Rockwell, and Agatha Christie as guests before the Handmaids of the Sacred Heart of Jesus purchased the property and began classes at 2025 Church Rd. in 1946.
In addition to the most up-to-date instructional areas and classrooms, Ancillae houses three science labs, an Innovation lab, a MIDI lab, six studios for private music instruction, an art studio and kiln area, a computer graphics area, an auditorium, cafeteria, gym, school chapel, and a fully equipped library. The outdoor facilities are comprised of an outdoor classroom and gardens, two playground areas, a nature path, and an athletic field with a spectator area.
