Your most recent, revised AWC should be saved to Google docs. If you do not hand in the assignment on the due date (absence excluded)  please come to the library and print it out at 10 cents per page so that it is not late.

See the new books we received in January. Go to the Destiny catalog page and select the "Resource List" link on the left menu. When the Resource List opens, choose the "Public Lists" tab at the top of the page. (posted 1/30)

Reminder:  You are expected to come to Library class prepared. If you are unprepared (example: you don't have an assignment completed) you must take responsibility and come and see me about it before or during homeroom. Telling me in class, or my discovering in class that you are unprepared, does not follow class procedure and may result in a note or e-mail home to your parents. Accepting responsibility and seeing me before or during homeroom will give you a pass. The only exception to telling in class that you are unprepared  is D.E.A.R. non-fiction.

    Use the following guidelines to review the articles in the reader for activities # 1-5:      

Newton’s Toy Box Articles

-                Refer to the pages in your notes for the readings for each activity.

-                Read the pages and complete the following for each activity:

  1. Answer the questions for at least on of the articles.
  2. Describe where you saw one of the concepts that you read about in the reader to what happened in the corresponding activity.
  3. Paraphrase (that means describe in your own words) 2 concepts that you read about.
  4. Remember to write the title of the activity at the top of your paper and the date.

Spanish

6M, 6R, 6W-Complete foldable study guide of stem-changing verb rules (e-ie, o-ue, u-ue, e-i), include: the rule, an example conjugation chart (any verb that follows rule), 2 example sentences in Spanish and the translation in English using any verbs that follow that specific rule, and a list of all over verbs that follow the rule- see worksheet from class

*Make it pleasant to look at because you will be using it a lot!!
