Forensics

Ancillae-Assumpta Academy is proud to offer its students in 6th, 7th, and 8th grades, the opportunity to participate in our Forensics program. Forensics is a form of competitive public speaking where students engage in formal presentations of categories such as poetry, prose, dramatic interpretation, declamation, original oratory and duo interpretation.  The students compete in Tournaments at various high schools where they gain recognition for their efforts. The school is a member of the Junior League of the National Catholic Forensics League. Our students have been honored on numerous occasions and have developed into confident public speakers who learn skills that prepare them for high school and beyond.

The Forensics team meets after school every Wednesday at 3:15-4:30 in the Library.

See Calendar of Forensics Events and Practices here.
