Tryouts for the Ancillae-Assumpta Academy Varsity and Junior Varsity Basketball Teams are listed below. Please note that if the tryout begins at 5:00PM, players are permitted to stay at school until the tryout begins.
Junior Varsity (5th and 6th Grade) Boys:

Varsity (7th and 8th Grade) Boys:

The selection of players for the teams is based on skills necessary for them to succeed in the Catholic Academy League, which is a competitive program. Students that do not make the Basketball Teams are encouraged to join Community, CYO, or Recreation Leagues.
All students are welcome to join the Intramural Basketball Program, which begins on Saturday, January 6th. More information will follow in the Weekly News & Updates.
All medical forms must be received before your child can participate in clinics, preseason practices, and regular season practices. All Forms are located on the webpage under Parent Files. These forms include:
Sports Physical (download and print form, complete, and submit to Health Office)
Sudden Cardiac Awareness Form (online form)
Concussion Awareness Form (online form)
Sports Permission and Payment (online form- due July 31st)
All athletes and their parents are asked to demonstrate their commitment to the program and its values by signing the following pledges:
Please be aware that all teams travel to away games, some of which are not located on the academy’s campus. Also, the Field Hockey and Soccer Teams occasionally practice and play games off campus. Bus Transportation is provided to all weekday practices and games.
Special Medical Needs
Please inform the Athletic Office if your child has any special medical conditions (such as allergies, asthma, cardiac conditions, diabetes, etc). It is the student’s responsibility to give to the coach any special medications that he or she carries so that it is available for use, if necessary, during games and practices, both on and off campus.
